A second location for Crave Kitchen and Bar will open in the city of Meridian. The establishment is planned for a site across the street from Scheel's grocery store in the Ten Mile Crossing development.
MorHood, LLC submitted plans to the city for a new restaurant and bar. The proposed building covers 8,539 square feet. Tara Morandi of MorHood confirmed the project identity to reporters after initial filings were reviewed.
The new venue is scheduled to open next fall. The layout will mirror the design of the original Eagle restaurant. It will feature a large bar, a dedicated dining room, and a separate private dining area. An enclosed patio will also be included in the structure.
The Meridian location will create approximately 100 jobs. The menu will build on the offerings from the Eagle location. New items developed specifically for the second site will also be added.
Derek Hood, Crave Managing Partner, issued a statement regarding the expansion. He noted that the company opened its doors in 2020 in the Bridges at Lakemor development. Hood said the team is thrilled to bring the experience to Meridian and build new relationships in the community.
Hood stated that the new location allows for the introduction of new ideas while maintaining the core of the Crave concept. He emphasized that guests can expect great food and genuine hospitality for casual dinners or special celebrations.
The Crave Kitchen and Bar concept is distinct from Crave Delivery. Crave Delivery formerly operated from a building near Ten Mile but no longer operates in the Treasure Valley.
