The 2026-27 UEFA Women's Champions League league phase reaches its midway point on Wednesday.

FC Barcelona enters Matchday 3 as the only team with a perfect record. The reigning champions have scored 11 goals and conceded two across their first two matches.

Barcelona defeated Paris FC 5-2 in their opening match. Their squad includes Vicky Lopez, who won best young talent at the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday. Manager Pere Romeu received the women's coach of the year award, and Cata Coll was named best goalkeeper.

Alexia Putellas, now playing for London City Lionesses, won the women's Ballon d'Or. The award recognized her performance during the 2025-26 voting period, which ended in July 2026.

HB Koge hosts Barcelona on Thursday. The Danish side won its first match of the season with a 5-1 victory over Servette. Barcelona is the favorite to win the match, but Koge plays without the pressure of expectation.

OL Lyonnes seeks its first win against Inter on Wednesday. OL Lyonnes previously recorded an 8-0 victory over Servette, with Marie-Antoinette Katoto scoring a hat trick. They were held scoreless by Chelsea in their second match, where goalkeeper Hannah Hampton prevented further goals.

Chelsea faces Roma on Wednesday. The Blues are unbeaten in the league phase. Roma has recorded one draw and one loss in the new format. A Chelsea win would solidify their position near the top of the table.

Bayern Munich hosts Real Madrid in a key fixture. Bayern came from behind to draw with Manchester City in their opener. They then won 3-0 at Benfica, where Pernille Harder scored her 50th career goal in the competition. Real Madrid has drawn its first two matches, with Linda Caicedo providing consistent attacking output.

Paris Saint-Germain faces Manchester City on Thursday. PSG won 5-0 against OH Leuven in its second match after a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid. Manchester City has yet to record a win in the tournament.

Arsenal plays Benfica on Wednesday. The Gunners won their opening match against HB Koge but drew 2-2 with Paris FC. Mariona Caldentey is managing an injury. Manager Renee Slegers faces scrutiny over the team's tactical approach.

Paris FC hosts BK Hacken on Thursday. Hacken has zero points after two matchdays, tying with Servette for the lowest total. A loss in this match would likely end the Swedish club's chances of finishing in the top 12.
