The Wintry Market will return to downtown Boise on November 20 and 21, offering residents a two-day opportunity to shop for handmade holiday gifts. The event will take place on the main floor of the Boise Centre West.
Organizers describe the gathering as the largest iteration of the market yet. More than 100 artists from across the Western United States will attend to showcase their work. The selection includes art, craft, and design items intended for the upcoming holiday season.
The market has received recognition from national publications. Food & Wine magazine named it the best holiday bazaar in Idaho. Sunset magazine listed it as one of the best in the West. These designations have helped build anticipation for the event, which returns annually to the Treasure Valley.
The schedule for this year's event is set for two days. The Friday session will run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on November 20. The Saturday session will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. on November 21. Attendees can purchase tickets in advance or at the door. The venue accepts both cash and credit cards for entry fees.
Admission prices vary by day. A ticket purchased for the Friday session costs $10 and provides access for both Friday and Saturday. Entry on Saturday alone costs $5. Children aged 12 and younger will enter the market free of charge.
Vendors will offer a variety of food and beverages alongside the craft displays. The menu will include coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic options. The market focuses on unique, one-of-a-kind designs from independent creators rather than mass-produced goods.
The event is positioned as a destination for those seeking meaningful gifts. The combination of local and regional talent creates a diverse selection of items for buyers. The two-day format allows visitors to browse at their own pace over the weekend.
