Zoo Boise, situated between downtown Boise and Boise State University, is reducing its standard admission price for visitors this week. Starting in early November, the zoo will charge three dollars for entry on Thursdays. This reduced rate is available to all visitors and will remain in effect until the end of February 2027.

The special pricing applies to entry between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursdays. The zoo also designated Friday, November 27, as an additional day with the three dollar admission price. This date falls the day after Thanksgiving, when local families may be visiting the attraction with extended relatives.

Visitors can also purchase food and drinks at reduced prices during these promotional days. Medium fountain drinks and snacks will cost three dollars and thirty-three cents each. The zoo describes these options as an affordable way for guests to enjoy their visit while keeping expenses low.

The zoo is a year-round attraction that offers various activities and events for Boise residents. Recently, the zoo hosted an event called Boo at the Zoo. The facility continues to offer opportunities for people to view animals that are housed at the zoo. The new Thursday pricing structure is part of the zoo's ongoing efforts to provide accessible entertainment for the local community.

The admission discount is valid for all customers. No specific membership or residency is required to receive the three dollar rate on Thursdays. The promotion runs through the end of February, providing a multi-month window for discounted visits. The zoo encourages locals to take advantage of the lower cost for casual outings or planned events.
