Kelceymarie Warner leads Republican Ryan Davidson by 400 votes in the Ada County Commission District 1 race. Ada County reports that 100% of precincts are counted. Warner holds 50.1% of the vote, while Davidson has 49.9%.

Warner works in a maternal health program. She ran for the Garden City City Council last year but did not win. Davidson is the incumbent. He previously defeated Democrat Diana Lachiondo in 2020 and won reelection for a two-year term in 2024.

If Warner wins, she will be the first Democrat on the commission since Kendra Kenyon. Kenyon chose not to run for reelection and left office in early 2023.

In the race for Ada County Coroner, Democrat Dotti Owens holds a lead of 3,718 votes. Her challenger is Republican Brett Harding. Owens served as coroner from 2015 to early 2023. She lost her seat to Republican Richard D. Riffle four years ago. Riffle decided not to run for reelection this cycle.

Incumbent Republican Commissioner Rod Beck leads Democratic challenger Michael Fitzgerald by 594 votes. Beck holds 50.1% of the vote to Fitzgerald’s 49.9%.

Idaho law allows candidates who lose by 0.1% or less to request a recount at public expense. None of the current results fall within that margin. Candidates may also pay for a recount themselves, but they must deposit the estimated cost. Requests are due within 20 days.

Republican Todd Christensen is set to become the next County Treasurer. Republican Rebecca Arnold retains her seat as County Assessor. Republican Trent Tripple ran unopposed for County Clerk.
