Boise car wash gives free washes to police

J's Hand Car Wash is giving free washes to local first responders today, Wednesday, October 28. The single-day promotion aims to thank community safety workers during a period of unpredictable Treasure Valley weather.

The business defined the eligible professions for the giveaway. While the source lists specific roles, it notes that many residents likely know someone who qualifies for the free service.

KIDO Talk Radio described the current seasonal conditions as chaotic, with residents experiencing all four seasons within a single 24-hour day. This variability makes deciding when to wash a vehicle a common frustration for drivers in the area.

The radio station credited local businesses with frequently finding new ways to thank first responders who work daily to keep the community safe. It noted that people often forget these workers until they need them, making gestures from local businesses like J's Hand Car Wash meaningful.

The outlet encouraged listeners to share the news with colleagues in the field so they can use the offer before the day ends. The free washes are available only on today's date, marking the final step for this specific community appreciation event.
