Investigators at the National UFO Reporting Center have logged two distinct reports of unidentified aerial phenomena in Idaho. The submissions arrived following sightings that occurred between October 24 and October 28, 2026.
The first incident involves a large, light-colored object spotted from a vehicle on Heise Road in Ririe. A single witness reported the craft traveling at high speed on October 24. The center has assigned incident report number 201970 to this case, which remains open for review. Ririe is located approximately 300 miles east of Boise.
The second report details a sighting in southwestern Idaho near Boise. On October 28, shortly after 8 P.M., observers noted a triangular craft in the sky. The object was estimated to be 50 yards in size and displayed three distinct lights. Witnesses stated the craft was moving in a southeastern direction. This event is filed under report number 20206.
Both objects were observed at altitudes below 1,200 feet. The center is seeking additional details from any other residents who may have seen the objects in Ririe or Boise during that four-day window. Submitters are asked to provide further information to aid the ongoing investigation.
The reports were published by the Washington State-based center, which tracks anomalous phenomena across the region. The two incidents are treated as separate events despite their close timing.
