The Bruneau Cowboy Christmas has moved to Quey's Farm for its 27th annual celebration, which runs from November 6 through November 8. This marks the first time the event will be held at its new location, a change organizers say will provide more space for shoppers and vendors.
The venue is located at 48803 Highway 78, near Bruneau Dunes State Park. The move allows the event to accommodate more than 200 vendors, offering a wider range of goods than previous years. Shoppers can browse handmade jewelry, pottery, leather goods, Western clothing, antiques, and Christmas decorations.
Food options at the event include numerous food trucks, wineries, and mobile bars. A staple of the gathering is the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, which returns this year. Organizers note that attendees have traveled from all 50 states and Canada to participate in past events.
Admission is $5 for visitors aged 12 and older, or $2 with a nonperishable food donation. Military personnel pay $2 for entry, and children 12 and under attend for free. Parking costs $10 per vehicle, with a single pass valid for all three days of the event.
Hours vary by day, with the event open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the gates close at 3 p.m. Visitors can find additional details and tickets on the official Bruneau Cowboy Christmas website.
The event coincides with special evening astronomy programs at nearby Bruneau Dunes State Park on Friday and Saturday. This timing allows attendees to combine their shopping trip with stargazing opportunities in the same region.
