Boise State football fans will see former head coach Kellen Moore back on campus Saturday night. The Bobcats of Texas State arrive at Albertsons Stadium for the Broncos' first game on the Blue this season.

Moore, who hails from Prosser, Washington, is returning to check out his statue. The source notes that no other player has represented the team, university, and state quite like the young man from Prosser. His presence adds a layer of national attention to the matchup, as the game will air on the CW network.

Texas State enters the contest as heavy underdogs. The source advises Boise State to watch for a trap game, suggesting the Broncos may be distracted by the national audience and Moore's return. Despite the Bobcats being favored to lose, their talent is expected to push the Broncos until the end of the game.

Elsewhere in college football, Oregon State travels to Fresno for a Saturday night game against the Bulldogs. The Beavers are considered the only Pac-12 team with a realistic chance of beating Boise State later in the season. Fresno State is described as talented and aggressive at home, making the venue a difficult spot for the Beavers, who have not won there in a long time.

In the Pac-12, Oregon faces Northwestern on the Peacock Network. Northwestern is led offensively by Chip Kelly, who moved from his head coaching role in Oregon to become the offensive coordinator in Evanston after his NFL stint. The Wildcats are currently 6-1 and ranked 20th in the AP Top 25. They run a version of the Wing T offense and lead the nation in time of possession and rushing yards.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning faces pressure after losing his starting quarterback and firing his offensive coordinator. A loss to Northwestern would hurt his standing with the program. Meanwhile, the Big 12 recently lost its commissioner, and the college football landscape continues to shift as the season enters Week 9.
