Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft won the final round of Celebrity Traitors on BBC One, securing victory for the Faithful. The conclusion aired at 8pm and marked the end of a season characterized by frequent rule breaks and unpredictable player behavior.

The finale began with the elimination of King Kenny, a Traitor who had come close to winning. Ranganathan initially misidentified James Blunt as a Traitor, putting his team at risk. Croft identified Kenny’s deceptive behavior and voted him out, saving the Faithful from defeat.

James Blunt reacted angrily to being mistaken for a Traitor by Ranganathan. He demanded a second vote, arguing that Ranganathan had insulted him. This move backfired when the group expelled Blunt, leaving Ranganathan and Croft as the sole survivors.

The final round table also saw the departure of Maya Jama. Jama had carried the show during the early weeks after being paired with Traitors Richard E Grant and James Acaster. Her refusal to engage deeply at the round tables raised suspicions, and Kenny voted to eliminate her to protect his own position.

Kenny admitted that voting for Jama was difficult, though he did not appear distressed by the decision. The season had been marked by other notable exits, including Irish comedian Joanne McNally and actor Michael Sheen. Sheen was eliminated by the Traitors because he was piecing together the game’s dynamics too effectively.

Earlier in the season, Grant self-identified as a Traitor in a farcical moment, while Acaster revealed his role after cracking at the round table. These early incidents set a tone of chaos that threatened to derail the show throughout the season. The finale provided a structured conclusion to these disruptions.

The win concludes a run that tested the patience of viewers and participants alike. The game rules required strict adherence, yet several celebrity contestants struggled to maintain the necessary focus. The final outcome leaves Ranganathan and Croft as the victors of this particular iteration of the competition.
